We are finally in Japan! We arrived safely, without incident. Everybody is in good spirits--very tired but doing well! Our host missionaries met us at the Fukuoka airport (we got in at 10:00 PM). We had a very brief orientation in the hotel lobby. We checked in and now we're all in our rooms getting settled. We had a 2-3 hour layover at Narita Airport--just enough time to exchange our dollars for yen and grab a bite to eat (some of us tried "takoyaki" which is batter fried octopus and some of us had some really good, spicy ramen.) Some of us were not feeling hungry and just looked around in the shops. As I'm typing this, some are taking showers, some are laying down and some are unpacking. We have church tomorrow and after church we'll head to the international school where we will set up for the camp starting on Monday. I'll stop here but will try to upload pictures and will write tomorrow. Please continue to pray for safety, good health, and God's anointed guidance.
Good night!!
Ahhhh! So good to see your smiling faces and know that you are there safe and sound. This is Hawley's mom so I want lots and lots of pictures of her. I know you will do that for me. Right? Praying for all of you.
